An illustration inspired by Claude Debussy - Tarantelle Styrienne: Danse
The musical composition Tarantelle styrienne: Danse, by Claude Debussy, is rich in fast paced bouncing notes, invoking joyful images of Spring. To Debussy’s disapproval, he was considered an impressionist composer, a genre known for concentrating on the atmosphere and emotions of music. This illustration aims to capture this piece of music through a scene of Spring foliage and two woodland creatures; the rabbit as Debussy and a caterpillar dancer.
